Welcome to Holy Trinity Parish

We are a Catholic parish of the Diocese of Cheyenne, nestled in a residential neighborhood just off of East Lincolnway, Converse Avenue and Pershing Boulevard, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Many opportunities are offered to young and old alike. We have a vibrant youth ministry program (preschool through high school), which includes faith formation, sacramental preparation, social activities and service projects. At three weekend Masses, we have Children's Liturgy of the Word. We have a dynamic adult program, which also includes faith formation, sacramental preparation, social activities and service projects. We promote stewardship as a way of life through sharing time in prayer, talent in service of God and neighbor, and treasure with God and the Church.  In addition to our Sunday, Holy Day, and Weekday Masses, we have daily adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

Holy Trinity is truly a parish open to all, grounded in prayer and a messenger of the Gospel. We invite you to tour our website and see the many and varied opportunities we have to offer you, and to come join our parish family in prayer and as messengers of the Gospel.

Parish Mission

Join us for our annual parish mission beginning October 9th. Our keynote speaker is Fr. Bill Hill and his theme is “Rich in Mercy: Mercy in the Family.” The mission will kick-off with a potluck dinner Sunday night at 6 pm in Mother Cabrini Hall. Holy Trinity will be provide the main course and is asking everyone to bring a side dish, salad or dessert. This is a great opportunity for everyone to come together with Christ and meet others in our Church. Following the potluck, the first night of Catechesis begins at 7 pm in the church with a talk by Fr. Bill and praise and worship music. Monday and Tuesday night we will begin at 6:30 in the Church with a dessert reception to follow each night. We would love help putting this together so if you are interested in getting involved, call Stacey at 421-2062 or Elizabeth at 256-2277 to help or for more information. There will be a sign-up sheet for the pot luck in the back of the Church.

Capital Campaign

Access for All: Rising to the Challenge, Now and in the Future

Holy Trinity is currently raising funds to finance an addition to the church that would provide ADA compliant bathrooms, an elevator, and storage areas. Additional improvements include air conditioning for the church and doubling the parking lot size.

See floor plans and learn more about the project here...

As of Tuesday, October 18, 2016, our total amount raised is $1,561,413 toward our goal of $1,700,000!

Thank you to all who have selflessly given to our Capital Campaign.

We have received good news from the Catholic Extension Society of America.  They will give us a 1:2 matching grant for new gifts and pledges received from March 15, 2016 through January 31, 2017 for up to $50,000 if we raise an additional $100,000.  We need just over $6,000 to match fully the Extension Grant and count it.  Please consider an extension to your pledge or an additional pledge or donation to make our project a reality.

Simon Contractors has been working on the parking lot.  The parking lot is getting very close to done, and asphalt will be laid October 27-28.  Curb and gutter, the islands, the lights, and the base are done. The parking lot is not available during the week, but is for Saturday Evening Mass and for Sunday Masses.  On weekends, we have people directing parking.  Watch for people in neon vest showing the way.  With the exception of landscaping (which will be done in the spring), the parking lot is scheduled to be done by the end of the second week of November.

Haselden Construction continues to work on the addition to the church.  The bssement walls and footings have been poured, and so has the flooring in the basement and entry area.  The elevator shaft has been constructed.  Steel is being installed, and the decking for the floor over the basement is being constructed.  Soon work to enclose the building will begin. They are scheduled to be done by the first week of March of 2017.

Total cost the new parking lot and the addition to the church will be $2.25 million. A construction loan has been secured, which will turn into a traditional loan once the projects are completed.  We will be carrying a debt for a while, and will need to do additional fund raising to address the difference between what we have raised and the total project costs.

Please contact Fr. Tom is you have questions or would like to contribute to this project.

Living and Giving in Christ: Unity Through Diocesan Mninistry

Our parish, Holy Trinity, is a part of the Diocese of Cheyenne, which is the local Church in the State of Wyoming.  Together with the Bishop and the priests, deacons, religious and laity we constitute the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church in our little corner of the world.  This is one of the reasons that the Bishop is always mentioned in the Eucharistic prayers at Mass.  The Living and Giving in Christ Appeal helps to support the Church of which we are a part.  One of those ministries is faith formation.  Through the Diocesan Pastoral Ministries Office support is given to each parish to help with our parochial faith formation ministry.  For example, the Diocese obtained for us the license to use the  This is an online video service with some fantastic videos about the faith. Contact the parish office to try it.  The ministry of faith formation is just one of the ways the Diocese supports the parish.  Your gift to Living and Giving in Christ makes this possible.

Our goal is $107,858.  We encourage everyone to make a pledge and/or donation.  If everyone would make a gift, this will help us to achieve the goal.  We encourage the tithe where 5% is given to the parish, 2% to the annual appeal and 3% to other collections and charities.  Holy Trinity is required to make our goal, and if we fall short, we have to make up the difference between what is pledged and our goal.  This last year, we were short and had to contribute to the Diocese $17,068.50 from our regular parish offerings.  Please, therefore, be sure to complete a pledge envelope using either the one you received in the mail or one in the pews.  If you moved to Holy Trinity from another parish, please mark your parish as “Holy Trinity,” to properly insure we are credited for your donation.  Packets with brochures and pledge cards are in the pews and the vestibule.  Thank you for your generosity to the Diocese and to our parish.
