Adult Education
Just as in all areas of life, our faith needs nurturing and enriching if it is to grow. Religious Education does not stop when we are Confirmed or graduate from high school. Conversion is a life long process and must have fuel to keep it going. Bible study, small communities of faith, and other activities provide us with opportunities to grow in our faith. Watch for new programs design to give us a boost in this area. Faith education need not be a dull process.
Watch for others to be presented in the coming year.

RCIA
RCIA or Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process for receiving adults into the Catholic Faith. We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm in the RE Center. Topics for study and discussion explore various areas of Catholic thought and doctrine and identity.
This faith journey includes time for inquiry and decision to move toward baptism or reception into full communion with the Church. The unbaptized are known as catechumens, and those baptized in another Christian tradition are known as candidates.
The catechumens and candidates after completing their spiritual preparation are received into the Church. This usually occurs at the Easter Vigil. However, candidates may declare a profession of faith and receive Eucharist and Confirmation at other certain times of the year.
Catechumens are baptized, confirmed and receive Eucharist during the Vigil celebrations. In many instances the candidates are also received into the Church during the Vigil but the main emphasis is on the reception of the unbaptized.
